Seventies Night

Last night Daryle, Travis and our friend John went to the Diamondback's game together. Every year they LOVE to attend 70's Night! This year Daryle got Travis to dress up and join in the action. They decided to tye die a shirt for Travis. They practiced on 3 different shirts, but they just didn't have that "this is the one!" factor. So, after much thought and deliberation Daryle got one of Travis' "free" D-backs t-shirts and they tie dyed that one. It turned out perfect! In fact, while they were at the game several people asked where they could buy one of those shirts. Too funny! (Perhaps this is an untapped market??) Yesterday morning Daryle decided that Travis needed some extra items to make his outfit complete. This is what he came up with:
Isn't he the cutest? Then dad said, "Oh no, now he needs a soul patch!"
Ta-da! Finished product!
Here is the trio ready for a fun night at the game. (Control your laughter!! LOL)

Travis got his picture taken at the game with Baxter, the team mascot. As you can see he was in costume as well.
They had so much fun. I guess as they walked around TONS of people stopped them and asked for pictures. There was a group of guys from New York who really liked their outfits. They all took pictures with Travis and then three different guys gave him $5 each. The kid made $15! We couldn't believe it! All in all the night was a huge success and I think they are already making plans for next year... lol
